Application for the 2018 Clayton Harvest Festival vendor fair (booths) is now open. With roots dating back to 1951, the Clayton Chamber of Commerce (CCOC) is proud to host this award-winning festival each year for our community. And with over 31,000 in attendance during the multi-day festival in 2017 (about 28,000 attending during Saturday's vendor fair alone), this is a prime opportunity to market your business or service, gain exposure, build community relationships, or simply just have some fun! The 2018 festival will also include a Military Crossroads, a new addition to Saturday's festivities! This will be something you will not want to miss. More exciting details about this year's festival will be released soon.
Please note the following before you proceed to the application buttons below (read carefully):
Festival Vendor Fair Date and Time
The Clayton Harvest Festival's vendor fair will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 10:00am - 5:00pm. If you are interested in vending during the Latin American Festival (a part of the Clayton Harvest Festival) on Sunday, September 16, 2018, please click here.
Vendor Deadlines
Deadline for non-food vendor applications is August 10, 2018 (a late fee will added through August 31, 2018). Late applications will not be accepted after August 31, 2018.
Deadline for food vendor applications is June 4, 2018. Late applications will not be accepted after this date due to health inspection requirements. Food vendor applications are now closed.
Serving Food at the Festival (Food Vendor Booths)
Due to Johnston County Dept. of Health regulations, if you plan on selling ANY type of food at your booth, you are considered a food vendor, must fill out a food vendor application instead, and apply for necessary documents for Johnston County Health Dept. This includes any type food prepared at the festival, ice cream, snow-cones, smoothies, etc. If you come to the festival prepared to sell food, but have not filled out a food vendor application, you will not be able to set up.
Businesses on Main Street
If you have a store/business on Main Street and wish to use your free 10x10 booth space on the street in front of your store/business as a booth or a cleared space, you must apply as a vendor, select from your options, and use the coupon code indicated at payment to receive your free space. If you do not wish to use your free 10x10 booth space on the street in front of your store/business as a booth or cleared space, this space will be sold and used during the vendor fair and you do not need to proceed with registering.
Please be reminded you may not transfer your free space to another person/business to use during the Clayton Harvest Festival. If you are a business on Main Street and would like to serve food at your booth in front of your business, please fill out the food vendor application instead of the non-food vendor application and use the coupon code indicated.
CCOC Campaign Level Investors (Connector, Supporter, and Foundation Levels)
If you are a CCOC Connector, Supporter, and Foundation investor and wish to utilize your benefit of a free booth space, you must apply, select your appropriate booth option, and utilize the proper level coupon code at payment. If you are a campaign investor and would like to serve food at your booth, please contact Maria Bunn at 919-553-6352 before proceeding.
Direct Sales (MLM) Company Representatives
<SOLD OUT> The Clayton Harvest Festival will allow up to two vendors from the same direct sales company to apply for a booth. However, some companies prohibit more than one representative per event. It is up to you to make sure the rules of the company you represent are being followed. We will try to post here if we have secured the festival limit; however, if you have a question, please contact Maria Bunn (see contact info below). ***Note: We have met the maximum number of MLM companies for the 2018 festival. If you would like to be added to a wait list in case someone gives up their space, email maria@claytonchamber.com.*** <SOLD OUT>
Fees and Payment
The 2018 Clayton Harvest Festival booth prices are as follows:
We accept payment in the form of credit card inside the online application below. However, if you do not wish to pay with a credit card online, please fill out the form and use the coupon code CHECK at payment. Mail your check or money order (no cash accepted) to the Clayton Chamber of Commerce, 301 E. Main Street, Clayton, NC 27520. Since vendor booths often sell out, we must receive your check within 7 days of receiving the application to secure your spot. We look forward to seeing you at the festival!
